It’s a reflection on my LOVE for my kid(s), as well as my personal LOSS and GROWTH.
Things I want people to know about me:
As a mother away from home, I cherish my role in nurturing my daughter from afar. As a MDW, I provide compassionate care for the elderly. Being in the community, I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those around me.
An Assumption I most want to correct:
Many think MDWs lack skills. They assumed we have no formal training or skills, but many are highly capable, skilled and experienced in their roles. There are a huge number of MDWs who have hidden talents. They are good cooks, bakers, writers, public speakers – many have very creative ideas too!
