Healthcare for baby Mara
Baby Mara’s Mommy is a recognizance-paper holder. When she found out she was pregnant and approached public hospitals, she was rejected because of her immigration status. As a result, she could not register for an antenatal checkup vital for monitoring her health and the baby’s development.
When she came to PathFinders in her second trimester, our healthcare team moved quickly to provide her with assistance, including medical checkups and ultrasound services. She later delivered a beautiful and healthy baby girl.
Like the over 100 mothers and babies we provide postnatal care, immunization, and developmental assessment to, baby Mara and her Mommy need your help to make sure they have access to all their basic and essential healthcare needs.
