We were super grateful for such a wonderful Family Fun Day & Book Launch for “My Extra-Special Aunty”, held on 11th May 2024 at Asia Society Hong Kong.
Thank you to all the families and aunties who joined us to celebrate this book and participate in all the activities. Children and aunties decorated cookies, created beautiful thank-you cards, made fun accessories and read “My Extra-Special Aunty” together, creating memories that will last for years to come!
Our attendees also got to meet the author, Joanna Bowers, and illustrators Cristina Cayat and Noemi Manguerra, and viewed a special art exhibition by migrant worker artist collective, Guhit Kulay.
