On 1st December, we hosted our annual Ambassador Appreciation Day to celebrate and express gratitude to our wonderful Ambassadors.

This year our Ambassador Appreciation Day focused on celebrating those who care – care for oneself, community and environments. Through the event, we wanted to honour the resilience and invaluable contributions of MDWs in Hong Kong, while also extending our heartfelt appreciation to our esteemed Ambassadors for their unwavering support and commitment to empower the MDW community with vital knowledge and skills, inspiring us all to cultivate a culture of compassion, understanding and solidarity.

We were deeply honoured to have the presence of Mr. George Soriano, Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong, and also Ibu Endah Yuliarti, Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia in Hong Kong at the event. We were also super delighted to see so many wonderful good friends, partners and supporters who came to support the event.

Entering its 4th year, our Ambassadors programme has now professionally trained and empowered 376 MDWs as community leaders. They are provided with important knowledge, information and skills training to help expand our outreach, amplify our messages and signpost our Crisis Intervention services if needed.
