Our Ambassadors’ outreach on 21st April 2024 was a little bit different from usual as we invited a group of students from HKUST to join.
It was a wonderful opportunity for these students to reflect on their own personal experiences as some of them are being cared for by MDWs, while also understanding some of the most common challenges faced by the MDW community, especially if they become pregnant.
Our Ambassadors also shared with these students key communications skills and techniques as well as the best practices to engage and empower MDWs, for example with the use of materials like resource cards, during the outreach.
