Director, Client Services
Jessica joined PathFinders in April 2012 and now serves as Director of Client Services, overseeing and developing case management, shelter and healthcare programmes. One of the programmes she oversees was awarded the Hong Kong Top Ten Outstanding Community Services Award 2019.
She is a registered social worker with over 10 years experience in crisis management, migrant matters, children's rights, debt counselling and elderly services. She urgently wants to fill the social service gaps and serve the most needy, assisting migrant mothers in regaining their confidence, dignity and hope.
Before joining PathFinders, Jessica worked with Caritas Family Crisis Support Center and Senior Citizen Home Safety Association.
Director, Community Engagement
A registered social worker, Carmen has dedicated herself and experience working with ethnic minorities, migrant workers, refugees, and asylum seekers. Prior to joining PathFinders in 2013, she worked at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to manage the entire welfare programme for over 100 refugee families as a Social Counselor and took on a role as Service Development Officer at Caritas, Hong Kong at Social Services Division with over 2,000 staff. She had worked with over 200 cases of asylum seekers and shelter management as a Case Manager at International Social Service Hong Kong (ISS). Carmen has extensive experience and knowledge of the social welfare system in both U.S. and Hong Kong. She also worked at the foster care and psychiatric rehabilitation centre in the states as a case manager.
Carmen holds a Master degree in Social Work at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology and Music at Salisbury University in Maryland, United States.
Business Development Manager
Harriet joined PathFinders in 2017 and is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO.
She oversees fundraising and donor management, with key responsibilities including fundraising strategy and day-to-day operations, income management and cashflow projections, business development and donor relationship management, and fundraising event management.
Prior to PathFinders, Harriet was Programme Officer at COMO Group in Singapore where she managed a grant portfolio for COMO Foundation, the Group's philanthropic arm, and the sustainability efforts for the Group's lifestyle retail businesses. Harriet holds a First Class Honors BSc degree in Economics from the University of Bath, UK.
Senior Communications Manager
Kuma joined PathFinders in 2018 with over 10 years of experience in the media, PR and NGO sectors. She was a journalist before switching to the private sector as a communications professional and finally to the NGO sector, having worked with Rainlily, SPCA Hong Kong, Human Rights Press Awards and the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation on various marketing and fundraising campaigns.
She grew up in Hong Kong and has studied, travelled and lived in more than forty countries. She believes in informing others to make their best decisions for themselves, and in empowering and raising others.
Community Engagement Manager - Employers
Angie joined PathFinders in 2019 to kickstart the employers’ engagement initiative. Angie has spearheaded a number of new initiatives in her career; including a child advocacy service for children involved in the child protection system, as well as a family programme centre for families of the incarcerated.
Ever passionate about enhancing the lives of individuals and communities - particularly the disenfranchised - Angie has worked in different roles and functions in diverse settings; from social service, community development to international development. Her vast experience also spanned from non-government to public sectors in different parts of the world.
Angie brings her positive spirit, resourcefulness and creativity into every aspect of her life – be it professionally or personally. A true global citizen, Angie calls a few places home. Hong Kong is where she and her family now resides.
