I have been working with a Chinese family for 18 years, caring for my employers and their two teenage children.
My primary role is to support daily household chores and maintain a clean, safe and organised living environment; and prepare healthy food for the family.
My daughter is 27 years old and she works as a teacher. My son is 25 years old and he is an Electrical Engineering student. My husband is a government employee.
My motivation to work abroad is for my personal growth and for my family. There was pure excitement in exploring a new environment.
My goal was to establish clear financial milestones – to save money and to earn higher income to support my family.

Over the years, I’ve enhanced confidence, leadership and professional skills as a PathFinders’ Ambassador. Through communicating across different languages, I’ve also learned the art of active listening and providing emotional support to those who need it.
