PathFinders helping children

Join us in making a difference. We are looking for volunteers who are motivated and passionate about helping children and their migrant mothers.

Here are different ways you can get involved:
Education Programme - Playtime with Toddlers - January to December
Playtime with Toddlers

By assisting us to run the workshop smoothly, you will help to create a calm learning environment that enables our beneficiaries to get the most out of the class. Your contribution will help our migrant mothers to gain the skills and knowledge that they need to take charge of their lives.

Please help us to:
1. Take care and look after children who are under 3 years old
2. Keep an eye on them and make sure they are safe
3. Story-telling, drawing, singing, other activities etc. to keep them focused

Day of the week: Mondays and Wednesdays

Time: 1:45pm-4:30pm

Supplies Distribution - Sorting Supplies and Babysitting - January to December
Sorting Supplies and Babysitting

We have Clothes Collection Day once a month for our beneficiaries to collect some much needed items. We need volunteers to help with sorting and distributing supplies and with babysitting. Please help us look after children who are 3 years old and under.

Day of the week: Once a month, on a Friday

Time: 10am-4pm

Outreach Programme - Outreach Ambassador - January to December
Outreach Ambassador

We are striving to raise public awareness on maternity rights for migrant workers by delivering preventative community education workshops to equip them with the knowledge of prevention of unplanned pregnancy, maternity rights, employee rights, PathFinders services, other resources and support available. We need manpower to help prepare and assist with these events.

Please come and join us!

Date: Typically on Sunday/Tuesday/Friday

Time: 12pm – 4pm

Location: Hong Kong Island / Kowloon / Yuen Long

Education Programme - Educator/Trainer - Mondays/Wednesdays
Life skills educators

We are looking for individuals who are knowledgeable in topics relevant to our beneficiaries’ daily lives to facilitate our weekly group meetings. We are also open to new topic suggestions! Topics covered include:

  • Personal empowerment
  • Parenting
  • Women’s health
  • Legal rights
  • Relationships & culture

Date of the week: Mondays

Time: 2pm-4pm

Come and share your creative and/or business skills with our beneficiaries who are looking to learn new skills with income-generating opportunities. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Small business training
  • Make-up, salon
  • Crafts and creative arts

Date of the week:Wednesdays

Time: 2pm-5pm

If you would like to learn more about our services, please come and join our volunteers workshop.
