PathFinders was born through an understanding of the impossible situation facing undocumented migrant women who have lost their jobs, overstayed their visas and are pregnant.
All too often, these women fall through the safety nets established by government organisations and social services, spiraling into a world where they become easy prey.
Founded in late 2007, Pathfinders Limited is a registered charity in Hong Kong that helps distressed migrant women and their Hong Kong-born children find a safe and legal way home.
From immigration, medical care and employment to child care, adoption and family planning, we provide holistic assistance to our clients, helping them become documented and find their way back home. By connecting them with support networks in both the public and private sectors, we aim to bring hope to lives that would otherwise fall deep into the cracks of despair.
