This is a distressed migrant woman.

She is a new mother. Being undocumented, she has no right to work in Hong Kong, nor access to social or medical services. She is without the support of friends and she has been ostracised by her family. She is a victim of abuse. She desperately needs someone to trust.

Each year, thousands of migrant women, most of whom enter Hong Kong as Foreign Domestic Helpers, find themselves trapped like this. PathFinders is a donation-funded charity whose mission is to break this hopeless cycle and help these women and their children find a safe and legal way home.

This baby has no documents, no father, no support and is not welcome in Hong Kong.
