‘Cook Day’ with Doppio Zero

Doppio Zero hosted a ‘Cook Day’ for our mums and children at their restaurant on 27 July 2014. Chef Ryan taught them how to make homemade pasta and they tried their own creations afterwards. What an experience! Everyone had an amazing time.

Thank you Doppio Zero!

Annual Beach Party

Beautiful blue skies blessed our annual beach party on 8 August 2014. Over 80 people, including our beneficiaries, PF staff and board members, volunteers, and journalists joined us at the Gold Coast beach for a fun day in the sun.

We enjoyed delicious food, music, and a classic arrangement of games which included a bottle fill relay, egg-and-spoon-race, and three-legged-race. All of this would not have been possible without Brunswick’s generous sponsorship.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Tim Payne and the team at Brunswick!

Please check out our video on youtube.

Christmas Celebration with Chinese Rhenish Church

The Chinese Rhenish Church organized a banquet dinner on 29 December 2013 and invited our beneficiaries, staff and volunteers. There were 40 domestic workers and over 30 migrant mothers together with their children at this event. We celebrated over cultural sharing, speeches, stories, raffle prizes and gifts.

Thank you Chinese Rhenish Church HK Synod!

Botanical Garden and the Peak

On 15 November 2013 we organized a field trip to the Botanical Garden and the Peak. The Mitsubishi volunteer team took the lead and guided the mothers and children through the garden and zoo. Everyone had a wonderful time admiring the beauty of the flowers, enjoying some sun, taking pictures and blowing bubbles at the park.

Thank you Mitsubishi!

While the Mitsubishi team headed back to work, our beneficiaries and PathFinders staff were on route to our second location; up to the Peak for some afternoon tea at Bubba Gump. With thanks to a very generous gift voucher from one of our supporters.

Women of Influence Awards 2013: Master in Charity

We are extremely proud and pleased to announce that PathFinders Co-Founder, Board Co-Chair and former Executive Director Kylie Uebergang, was awarded the Master in Charity Award at the Women of Influence Awards 2013, presented by the American Chamber and the South China Morning Post on 8 November 2013.

PathFinders Ambassadors

We are proud to invite supporters to become PathFinders Ambassadors.

Our Ambassadors are a group of people who would like to learn more about the work we do and contribute to it in some way. We meet every couple of months to keep up to date on PathFinder’s happenings and to provide an opportunity for our volunteers to meet each other, exchange ideas and offer suggestions on PathFinders direction and impact.

If you would like to find out more about our Ambassadors group, or become one, please email rebecca@pathfinders.org.hk
