On Monday June 23, 2014 at the Grand Hall, Lee Shau Kee Centre, The University of Kong Kong, the SAR Philharmonic orchestra played their 100th charity fundraising concert. We are extremely grateful to be the beneficiary of this event, helping to raise much needed funds to assist migrant babies and mothers in crisis.
Over 800 people filled the acoustically spectacular venue. The attendance was varied and included many non-profit and migrant worker organisations and schools as well as representatives from the corporate, academic, medical and legal professions.
The music was fantastic, truly spectacular and we are so grateful to the SAR Philharmonic and to everyone who came and so generously donated to help us continue our critical humanitarian and counselling work for the migrant babies and mums we serve.
